He Brews Coffee began after ten years of gathering with our church small group, where about thirty people met every other Friday to share a meal, learn together, and build relationships around the table. When that season was ending, someone said, “If this home group ends, we need something in Shreve that still brings people together.” That simple comment sparked the idea that became He Brews.

While brainstorming names, someone suggested He Brews, and Hebrews 10:24–25—“do not neglect meeting together”—quickly became our vision. We wanted a place where people could gather, encourage one another, and feel at home.
We soon found a vacant building, and during an early walk‑through, a hidden brick wall was uncovered. That discovery shaped the warm, inviting design that defines He Brews today. As we built, we added space for bible studies, worship nights, and community gatherings. Our puppy, Latte, became part of the team, and visitors during construction were often moved to tears seeing something so welcoming being created for Shreve.

Eight years later, He Brews has become a place where relationships grow, people find encouragement, and the community comes together. We remain committed to helping Shreve thrive.
